Beschrijving boek
Issue number 96.
The marvelously complicated, beautifully simple female figure has been a subject of prime interest to painters since the beginning of the history of art. Almost every great artist is represented by examples of his impression and interpretation of the figure.
Learning to draw the figure is not difficult. As in al drawing, the basic principle is to learn to see, that is, to analyze by observation, and once you have done this the drawing or painting of the subject becomes relatively easy. How well you do it depends on sustained interest and continual practice.
From this book you should learn to 'play the scales'. Then you can go on to improvise and vary the them to your own taste.
